The ocean sunfish's scientific name is Mola mola.
Ocean sunfish don't have a tail: they have an appendage called a clavus, which is a result of the fusion of dorsal and anal fin rays.
Ocean sunfish like to eat jellyfish. They will also eat salps, small fish, plankton, algae, mollusks, brittle stars.
They used to remain in top water during night time,scientist spotted 31 fishes in Antarctic region and they used to play dead is they used to lie dead in water surface.
